PROVERBS 31 WOMAN: A DEEP BIBLE STUDY FOR WOMEN
READ THE SCRIPTURE: PROVERBS 31:10–31

THE CALL OF A PROVERBS 31 WOMAN

Proverbs 31 is not just a passage about housework, marriage, or tasks. It is a spiritual
portrait of what a woman becomes when God shapes her life, her character, and her calling.
This woman is wise, strong, generous, hardworking, discerning, spiritually grounded, emotionally healthy,

deeply connected to God. She is not perfect — she is transformed.

Becoming a Proverbs 31 woman is not an overnight change. It is a journey — one God
walks with us through healing, growth, and maturity. As we pray to become this woman, God begins to: renew our minds
soften our hearts, heal our wounds, shape our character, strengthen our spirit, align our steps with His design
When we walk as women of noble character, blessings begin to flow — not because we chase them, but because we are positioned for them.

IN THE BEGINNING — WHY THE SERPENT TARGETED THE WOMAN
Genesis 3:15 is the first prophecy of Jesus. God said to the serpent: "I will put enmity between you and the woman,

and between your seed and her Seed; He shall crush your head, and you shall strike His heel."
From the very beginning, the serpent understood what this meant:
The Messiah would come through a woman. A man would not be involved in the conception.
A woman would carry the One who would destroy Satan's power.
This is why the enemy did not attack Adam first — he went after Eve.
He knew:
God chose her body as the vessel of future redemption.
The lineage of salvation would come through women again and again until Mary carried Christ.
Because of this, Satan's hatred toward women has been ancient and intentional.

WHY THE ENEMY TARGETED EVE FIRST
In the garden, the serpent approached Eve — not Adam. This was not because she was
gullible or weak.
It was because the enemy knew something about God's prophetic plan:
The Savior would one day come through a woman.
Not a man.
Not the ground.
But a woman's womb.
He knew there would be a virgin birth. He knew no man's seed would be involved. He knew redemption would enter the world through a woman. So from the start, he has attacked women — their identity, their bodies, their purpose,
their confidence, their unity, and their worth.
He wasn't attacking Eve because she was vulnerable. He attacked her because she was dangerous.

GOD'S ORIGINAL DESIGN — EQUAL WORTH, DIFFERENT ROLES
When God created woman, He made her: Not as a lesser being. Not as an afterthought
But as a helper equal in value, standing beside man, not behind him.
God gave men the role of protector and covering — not to dominate — but to guard what
God created in woman.
The enemy knows if he can: destroy the design, twist the roles,, turn the order upside down,
or pit men and women against each other, then he can cause chaos in families, identity, and the future.
This is why he attacks womanhood and manhood so aggressively.

A DEEPER MYSTERY — ADAM FROM EARTH, WOMAN FROM LIFE
When God created Adam, He formed him from the dust of the earth. But God made woman from Adam — a living being already carrying God's breath.  This is powerful: Adam was created from creation. Woman was created from life. It was almost a prophetic echo of Christ's birth — life coming forth without man's involvement.
Just like:
Eve came from a living being
Jesus came through a woman by the power of the Holy Spirit
This gives women unique qualities that reflect God's heart in a distinct way: Nurture,  Life-giving
Spiritual sensitivity, Intercession, Intuitive discernment
These are not weaknesses — they are God-given strengths.

EVE'S CREATION FORESHADOWED THE BIRTH OF CHRIST
God created Adam from dust — but woman from a living body. This mirrors what God would later do with Jesus:
Jesus was formed inside a woman without the seed of a man — life coming from life, not from the ground.
Eve was created from a living being without a mother. Jesus was created in a living woman without a father.
Eve came from Adam's side. The Church was born from Jesus' side. Eve came from life to bring life.

Jesus came from life to bring eternal life. Woman's creation was a prophetic picture of God's plan of salvation. No wonder the
devil hates women. Your very existence reminds him of the miracle that defeated him.

GOD'S DESIGN OF WOMAN — EQUAL VALUE, DIFFERENT ROLE
When God created woman, He formed him from the dust of the earth. But when God
created woman, He did something entirely different: He made her from a living being — from Adam, whom He loved.
Adam was created from creation. But woman was created from life.
This means she carries unique qualities of God's nature that came through being formed
from something already living, already carrying God's breath. In a small, prophetic way, Eve's creation foreshadowed

the miracle of Jesus' birth — life coming forth without the involvement of man, demonstrating that God Himself chooses the vessel and breathes life where He wills.

God made woman from Adam's rib — not his head, not his feet.
Not to rule over him
Not to be ruled by him
But to walk beside him
God created her as his ezer — a Hebrew word used for God Himself. It means "powerful, helper," "rescuer," "lifesaver," "strengthener." Women were never created to be "less than." They were created to be essential,, powerful, and spiritually strategic.
And God gave man the role of protector and covering. So if the enemy can break this — if he can destroy unity, flip roles, twist identity, and pit men and women against each other— he believes he can destroy the future.
This is why families are attacked. Why marriages are attacked. Why womanhood is attacked.
Because the enemy knows how powerful a godly woman is.

EVE CAME FROM ADAM'S SIDE — GOD'S SYMBOL OF EQUAL WORTH
When God created Adam, He formed him from the earth. But when God created woman,
He took her from Adam's side — not from his head to rule over him, not from his feet to be trampled beneath him, but from his side, close to his heart. This wasn't random. This was prophetic.
She was made equal in worth, different in role, designed as a companion, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with man.
God made woman from life, not from dust. Adam was shaped from creation, but woman was shaped from something already living, already filled with breath, already infused with God's touch.
It was almost a prophetic picture of Jesus' birth:
Just as Eve came from a living being (Adam) Jesus came through a living woman (Mary) without the seed of man involved

The enemy recognized this pattern long before we did.

THE ENEMY'S TARGETING OF WOMEN
Because the serpent knew the Redeemer would come through a woman, he has
attacked women throughout all history: their identity, their worth, their bodies, their voice, their calling, their role in God's plan
He knows that when women walk in the truth of who they are, they become a threat to every dark scheme he has.
God designed woman as: a life-giver, a nurturer, a prophetic carrier of the future, a spiritual discerner,
a helper suitable — meaning powerful, equal, essential
Satan knows if he can twist or destroy God's design for women, he can try to distort the future.
But he cannot win — and he already knows that.

THE ENEMY KNOWS HE IS DEFEATED — BUT ATTACKS ANYWAY
The devil already knows he loses. He knows his fate is sealed. He knows Jesus crushedhis authority.
So why doesn't he stop?
Because he is full of rage.
Because he hates the image of God in women and men.
Because he knows he cannot win, so he tries to take as many as he can with him.
He is not fighting for victory — he is fighting from failure.

Yet many women don't realize the victory is already theirs.
Women often walk like they are defeated, while the enemy knows they are the ones who carry God's authority.
You are not a threat because you're weak — you are a threat because you carry life,
identity, purpose, and prophetic design.

IF THE ENEMY KNOWS HE LOST, WHY DOES HE STILL ATTACK?
Satan has read the ending. He knows Revelation. He knows he loses and Jesus wins.
So why is he still attacking us?
Because hatred blinds him. Because rebellion consumes him
Because he has made a final decision: if he is going down, he wants to drag as many
humans with him as possible. He knows he cannot hurt God directly, so he attacks the ones God loves — God's
children. His last act of evil is an attempt to break God's heart by stealing souls.
But the truth is this:
The book was written before time
The ending is already finished
We win
Jesus reigns
Satan falls
The only question left is: How many people will stand in that victory with us?
And that part — God entrusted to us.

THE TRUTH WOMEN MUST HOLD ONTO
Women hold: spiritual depth, discernment, influence, emotional intelligence, prophetic sensitivity,

strength wrapped in gentleness, compassion wrapped in power, the ability to give life physically and spiritually
This is why women must:
support each other, defend each other,  stop competing, link arms, walk as sisters,  stand in unity, rise in truth. and refuse to be divided. Women are the enemy's first target — but through Christ, they can become his last.

STANDING IN THE VICTORY ALREADY WON
From the very beginning, the serpent understood something humanity often forgets: God chose woman to carry the Messiah. In the garden, the enemy knew the prophecy — that a child would come from the woman, not by the seed of a man, who would one day crush his head. Because of that, Satan has always targeted women. He knew the Redeemer would come through her body, through her obedience, through her "yes." And because of that, he has hated her from the start.
The enemy knows he is defeated. He knows the ending. He knows the Lamb wins.
We are the only ones who forget.

This study reminds us:
We fight from victory, not for victory.
The ending of the story is already written.

The real question is not if we win — but how many will win with us.
God has trusted us with:
His truth
His love
His Gospel
His authority
His calling to reach others
We are invited to protect the Father's heart by refusing to let the enemy steal more of
God's children.
